Global Go Green - Powder Pouch Workshop

The Powder Pouch, a pouch containing chalk powder and a cotton thread, is a unique tool which cheongsam tailors use to draw the cheongsam pattern onto the fabric. It plays an important role in cheongsam making and is one of the iconic items in this intangible cultural heritage.
 
In this workshop, we will introduce the Chinese cheongsam culture, its history and modern renewals. You will make your own Powder Pouch in this workshop.
